It is a known fact people is likely to suffer from flu and cold in the alternation period of autumn and winter. For those office people, it is easy for them to become infected with cold. Then how to prevent flu in office? There are some useful things you can do.
1.To wash hands often
The best method to reduce the possibility of catching flu in office is to wash hands often. You may become infected with virus if your colleagues who have caught flu sneeze or have a cough. Study has shown that switches and phones can also disseminate virus. Thus you should form a good habit of washing hands. Generally, you are suggested to wash you hands before and after entering the office. Try to keep away from those people who suffer from illness.
2.To open the window or air-fresher
Virus spread easily especially in the hermetical room. Thus, the best habit of office workers is to open the window once you go into the office. If you work in the computer room that is far away from the window, you must use air-fresher. Here, I would like to mention those who use air-conditioners. You should often admit fresh air in.
3.To ask for leave once catch cold
Experts prove that the basic cause of cold is tiredness which can cause the decrease of immunity. And, cold can also happen because of the alternation of coldness and hotness, which can cause the loss of immunity. Therefore, once you catch cold, you are suggested to ask for leave and have a rest at home.
4.Vaccination
Flu is a kind of common disease with huge damage. At this time, vaccination is a good choice. Although vaccination is not a kind of almighty power, it can reduce the chance of suffering from flu and protect you from the strong flu in office. Vaccination does no harm to your health.
5.To do exercise to improve immunity
Although some articles suggest you to take in various kinds of vitamin, some experts think that these things can not improve the immunity. If want to take in vitamin C, you should ask doctors for advice ahead of time in order to avoid conflicts with the medicine you are taking. Scientists have shown that the best time to improve immunity is to do exercise especially outdoor activities.
